📍I enjoyed these wings but wish the traditional buffalo sauce wasn’t sweet. I’m glad I ordered a side of hellfire (their spicy jalapeno sauce) since it really helped balance it out. Wings were crispy as requested but could have been cooked longer still. I really liked the blue cheese, had good crumbles and flavor. Wouldn’t come out of my way for these.

📍You know when you ask the server if the hot is hot and they go, “meh”, you sure shouldn’t order them medium, so I ordered them hot. They were not hot. The sauce didn’t have anything special beyond a little heat on the back end. They also weren’t very crispy, or hot as a temperature… but I can forgive them the hot temperatures as it was a busy bar with footballs going. Now as my avid readers know, I’m not big on reviewing sauces and such. I believe a wing should stand on its own two… wings? But possibly the best part was the blue cheese. It was very chunky and seemed like it would have been home made. The ranch on the other hand, was forgettable. Now they did have a lot of flavor options and the possibility for boneless (which I did not get for the record makon). But I ordered the hot sauce like a true professional wing reviewer.
Stoney's Sloans Lake

📍Ordered buffalo wings extra crispy. They were actually undercooked. Extremely disappointed. Have been to other Stoney locations and wings have been much better than these were. Sauce was standard buffalo sauce and dips were decent but couldn’t appreciate them. Did not end up eating them all since they were so bad.

📍When wings were invented, the creators must have envisioned them being consumed in an afforable establishment with many alchoholic options. Such is Candelite. While Makon might not favor such wings, I feel it is my duty to upvote this establishment. The wings are a perfect compliment to a hearty beer and for $10 it is hard to argue with the value.
