Wings

These wings were beyond bland and boring. Only reason they get an 1 and not a zero is because they weren’t cooked bad, somewhat crispy, definitely edible. No flavor what so ever. They were $18 bucks too so way over priced for some of the WWOAT (worst wings of all time).

These were some great wings!!! The bartender didn’t bat an eye when I asked for them extra crispy and they delivered, naked but covered in sauce. These were normal size wings, and I mean that as a good thing. They weren’t trying to be ostentatious with unnecessarily large wings. Just normal wings! They were saucy, but not overly saucy. They had a nice crispyness when you bit into them. The meat was tender. Great place to start. Now let’s talk sauce. I got the buffalo sauce and their famous centennial sauce. I’ll say the buffalo sauce wasn’t that spicy (those familiar with my work know I can’t handle a ton of spice so this wasn’t the end of the world for me, but I could see it disappointing masochists I know). The sauce had a good flavor and tasted home made. Now the centennial sauce on the other hand was okay, it had a nice subtle pepperyness that I enjoyed but wasn’t over powering. But it left something to be desired, especially compared to the sauce. What about the blue cheese and ranch you may ask. Those familiar with my work know I don’t have much to say about these things. All in all this was a great experience and a wonderful dive bar that makes incredibly good wings.

Ordered 10 of the classic buffalo extra crispy and they did not disappoint. They were very crispy as desired and perfectly cooked. The wings were of a good size, not too big, and they were well seasoned. The sauce was pretty standard in terms of buffalo taste but with the addition of blue cheese crumbles which i thought was a nice touch. The ranch dip on the side tasted homemade, was a delicious but thought it could have used more herb flavor. Overall would definitely go back if I’m in the area.

The wings weren’t great. They were no where near crispy enough and were fairly chewy.

Ordered an order of the spicy garlic wings. If you love smoked wings, this is the place to go. They are smoked and then flash fried. They were very crispy and perfectly cooked. You can definitely taste the smoke..dare I say a little too smoky? The sauce was yum. Garlicky and good heat but I wish there was more of it. Both the ranch and blue cheese were awesome with ranch having an edge for sure. Both dips tasted homemade. These almost deserve a higher rating for the execution but just not the type of wing I generally crave.

Ordered the hot garlic (July special), extra crispy. They were as requested very crispy. Wings were of good normal size, crispy but still juicy. The sauce is simple, yet addicting. Only ordered 10 but wanted more. Could have been spicier but I loved the garlic taste. Blue cheese was fine, tasted almost bottled with added chunks. Would definitely go back. This is a Fort Collins staple.

Ordered buffalo wings extra crispy with a side of fuego sauce. They were much better than expected for dive bar wings. They were very crispy especially considering the wings were on the larger side. The sauces tasted homemade. Buffalo had nice heat and buttery flavor. Fuego is extremely hot..probably made with ghost peppers or possibly habenero. Glad we got that one on the side and not on the wings because just a drop was enough. Both blue cheese and ranch were good with a slight edge to the blue. Will definitely come back here. Of note, they have a $12.99 unlimited wing special on Wednesdays.

Ordered a pound of extra hot wings from this somewhat sketch Chinese place. Went here off Reddit recommendations. Will say that I was pleasantly surprised how incredibly crispy these were without being dry. The sauce had really nice heat, but overall tasted like a litttle extra heat was added to franks. Wing size was a little large for my liking but tasted like good quality. Dips ranch and blue tasted bottled and were the worst part. Wouldn’t go out of my way to get them again but they are on many Denver wing lists so were a must-try.

Large, breaded wings. Sauce was a bit on the heavy side. The sweet and spicy buffalo were the top choice. BBQ wings were okay. The size of the wings is deceptive. The all you can eat wednesday special gives you 10 on the 1st place and 5 on the refill plates. 15 of these wings is like 30 regular wings. Good price though at $20.

These were some of the most scantily dressed wings I’ve ever had!!! They were as naked as the day they were born but steaming hot when they came out. The meat was just asking to fall off the bone. The wing as a standalone was soo so good! Now you look at this and say Nate, If these were so so good, Why only 7? I say 7 because they may have been too fall off the bone-y. They were kinda mess to eat with how loose they were and not quite crispy enough to stay together. The sauce also wasn’t a traditional buffalo. But was still pretty goood. The best part by far though. Was the blue cheese. Mind you I usually don’t care about blue cheese enough to consider it in my review. But this blue cheese was soooo creamy and flavorful. It made up for the messiness of the wings. If you’re in nashville visiting Nate. I highly recommend you have him take you here.
