Wings

Wow. Amazing crunch. Perfectly saucy. All around a great wing for a great deal. The hype was real. I got the hot trad buffalo sauce and my girlfriend got the mild. The buffalo flavor is perfect. Not overwhelming and very balanced.

The spicy is spicy. Get them extra crispy. Fire wings.

You know when you ask the server if the hot is hot and they go, “meh”, you sure shouldn’t order them medium, so I ordered them hot. They were not hot. The sauce didn’t have anything special beyond a little heat on the back end. They also weren’t very crispy, or hot as a temperature… but I can forgive them the hot temperatures as it was a busy bar with footballs going. Now as my avid readers know, I’m not big on reviewing sauces and such. I believe a wing should stand on its own two… wings? But possibly the best part was the blue cheese. It was very chunky and seemed like it would have been home made. The ranch on the other hand, was forgettable. Now they did have a lot of flavor options and the possibility for boneless (which I did not get for the record makon). But I ordered the hot sauce like a true professional wing reviewer.

Nice and Crispy, all the sauces are homemade and have been that way for the last 20 years. No upcharge for all drums or all flats. Gotta try the Garlic Hot, best sauce in the menu in my opinion

Ordered buffalo wings extra crispy. They were actually undercooked. Extremely disappointed. Have been to other Stoney locations and wings have been much better than these were. Sauce was standard buffalo sauce and dips were decent but couldn’t appreciate them. Did not end up eating them all since they were so bad.

When wings were invented, the creators must have envisioned them being consumed in an afforable establishment with many alchoholic options. Such is Candelite. While Makon might not favor such wings, I feel it is my duty to upvote this establishment. The wings are a perfect compliment to a hearty beer and for $10 it is hard to argue with the value.

Large, meaty wings. Like, really large. Got like 8 of em. Mostly flats. Plenty of savory sauce. Not much spice. Not sure what it was but it did not fill my wing craving. For $13 it was decent value. Certainly full. Good to pair with naan.

Ordered 6 of the hot wings, extra crispy and they were incredible. They were extra crispy as requested, good quality wings, and well seasoned. Hot sauce was delicious and well balanced. Ranch and blue cheese were for sure homemade and amazing, couldn’t pick which one was better. Wings are half off on Wednesday. Definitely stop here if in Grand Junction!!

These wings came out hot and saucy. Huge wings. A hotter than average Buffalo sauce. A solid crisp on the exterior for some crunch. Plenty of meat.Quality service from the staff as well. I believe they pool tips. All star wings on all fronts.

Wings were crispy as requested and meat was fall off the bone which was surprising! They were well seasoned with decent buffalo sauce. Dips did not seem homemade but out of them the blue cheese was the best since it had added chunks. For wings at a microbrewery, I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely get them again.
